Rewa FC maintains DPL lead

Extra Supermarket Rewa FC maintains the Digicel Fiji Premier League lead after the conclusion of round seven last weekend. The Delta Tigers are at the top of the points table ladder with 19 points, having secured six wins and a draw so far. Rewa won 3-2 against Lautoka FC at Churchill Park in Lautoka, maintaining their unbeaten run in the competition. Madhwan Goundar, Josaia Sela, and Samuela Kautoga were on target for Rewa, while Sairusi Nalaubu and Muni Shivam Naidu scored for Lautoka.

Extra Supermarket Labasa FC remains in second place with 14 points, following their 3-1 win over Nasinu at Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa. Eprama Moraica, Christopher Wasasala, and Rusiate Doidoi found the net for Labasa, with Ryan Chandra scoring Nasinu’s lone goal.

Rooster Chicken Ba FC sits in third position with 13 points after a 2-0 victory over Nadi FC at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. Goals from Etonio Dogalau and Peceli Sukabula secured the win for Ba FC.

Navua FC is also on 13 points after a 1-0 win over Tailevu Naitasiri FC at Uprising Sports Centre, placing them fourth due to goal difference. Ali Mekhawir scored the winning goal for Navua.

Sugar Taxis/Pacifika Rentals/Nadroga Auto Marine Upholstery Works Nadroga FC has moved up to fifth place with 11 points after a 5-2 win over Flick Suva FC at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Nadi FC, after a 0-2 loss to Ba FC, is in sixth position with 10 points, while Lautoka FC is in seventh position with seven points. Flick Suva FC occupies eighth place with five points, and Tailevu Naitasiri FC is in ninth position with four points. Nasinu FC remains at the bottom of the table with three points.
