Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel has urged fans to come out in number and support the Digicel Kulas in the semi-finals of the OFC Women’s Nations Cup 2022 tomorrow at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Patel said it was great to see fans supporting the team through the quarter-finals.
“It will be another exciting match. Basically, it will be football at its best and we request fans to come out in numbers to support the girls as they are representing our nation. Without their support teams may not be able to perform and if fans turn out in numbers at the grounds it will be an added support for the teams and it will boost their chances to win.”
“We are calling upon all football lovers nationwide to come and cheer the Digicel Kulas to victory on Wednesday,” said Patel
Patel thanked Fiji’s Prime Minister Hon Voreqe Bainimarama and other ministers for coming and supporting the team,
“I heartily thank our Prime Minister for taking his time and supporting the Kulas from the sideline,” said Patel
The Digicel Kulas will take on the Solomon Islands in the second semi-final on Wednesday at 7.30 pm.
