Northland Tailveu coach Kritesh Prasad was over the moon after the win.
“I am really proud today (Saturday) after my three years of hard work paid off, “said Prasad
“Hats off to the boys for giving their heart out for Northland Tailevu,”
Prasad said he was confident of the win.
“I had faith in my boys as they knew what we expected from them and they gave us most memorable gift for Diwali,” said Prasad.
Prasad said this year was very painful year for him and despite that he continued the development of football in his district.
“My house was fully destroyed in the cyclone this years and I wanted to quit coaching but there was something inside me that stopped me from that and I think today (Saturday), I feel the victory was the reason.
The former Northland Tailevu rep dedicated the win to his former president Late Shane Ravindra.
“We dedicate this win to our late president who always supported and wanted to see the development of football in the district,”
“I also dedicate this win to all the parents and supporters. The parents have been always behind us and I thank them for the support,”
