Fiji Football Association’s second major tournament Battle of the Giants will be known as Rooster Chicken/Scoops Premium Ice-cream Battle of the Giants after Fiji FA secured a three-year deal with Ashabhai & Company Limited and Future Farms Limited as an official sponsor.
The three-year deal was signed at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa with both companies coming on board with a $305,000 sponsorship.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel said it was a great day for Fiji FA as this was the last competition, we needed to get a sponsor on board as all our competitions have sponsors.
“Thanks to Future Farms Limited and Asha Bhai Limited for coming on board and making sure the development of football continues, “said Patel.
“Without sponsors, nothing is possible if you see the amount of development Fiji FA has done over the years because we had strong sponsors supporting Fiji FA over the years.
“This partnership will take us a long way in the development of football in Fiji, “said Patel.
Ashabhai Company Director Neil Patel said the companies were honoured to be part of the privileged history and prosperous future.
“A future where passion for the game ignites inspiration and fosters unity among our people, “Patel said.
“Thank you for trusting Ashabhai and Future Farms for this opportunity. We are proud to be associated with Fiji FA and looking forward to an incredible display of skill sportsmanship and camaraderie at the 2023 Rooster Chicken/Scoops Premium Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament in Nadi.
The pool games are set to kick off from the 11th to the 13th of next month at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
The semi-final and final will be played on the 19th and 20th of August.
