The Navua Football Association has planned an awards night to reward its players for giving their all for the district.
Despite being defeated 4-0 in the 2022 Courts IDC final against Suva, Navua has won the hearts of many football fans.
Association Rajeev Prasad commended his players and coaches for the great effort.
“I must heartily thank all the players, officials, and coaches for the job well done,” said Prasad.
“No one expected us to be in the final but the number of well-wishers was amazing,”
“I received so many messages and calls after we reached the final and even after we lost to Suva in the final,”
“I would like to thank each and every one for showing their support,”
The Navua businessman said he would like to thank all for the positive comments.
“It’s always a good feeling to know that we have this support from so many people.”
“A big vinaka to the players and their families. Our officials, coach Saiyad Ali and not forgetting our sponsors, all worked hard this season to produce such a wonderful result,”
