The Navua football side is looking forward to making its return to top flight football after a lapse of five years.
The team made headlines last August after gaining promotion from the senior division.
Team president Rajeev Prasad says he has faith in his team though competition in the Premier division won’t be easy.
“It took us nearly three years to build a good team. We have a young set of boys who have jelled in quite well.
“We don’t have much experience but its District pride and team spirit which will help us,” he said.
Navua finished the senior League on an undefeated run of 31 matches dating back to the 2018 national League.
Navua’s first match is against Nadi this Sunday at 3pm at the Uprising Beach Resort Ground in Pacific Harbour
