After losing some of the key players in the preseason transfer window Nasinu is not letting any stone unturned to prepare the side for Vodafone Premier League opener against Lautoka.
Association president Oneal Chand said this year they had started with different mindset.
“Some of our key players have left but we are scouting some players who will do wonders for Nasinu this year, “said Chand
“We will unveiling some hidden talents in Nasinu this year,” added Chand.
Chand said he was still looking for some players who would fill in the vacuum left by the players who left.
“We have applied the ITC for Solomon Islands U20 midfielder Jared Bently and I am also in talks with some of the players that have shown their interest in playing for Nasinu.”
‘I am thankful to coach Tagi Vonolagi who has continued his role and will prepare a competitive side,”
Chand said that they were getting in shape to face Lautoka.
“My team is getting in shape and I we understand the Blues have started their preparation for the OFC Champions League and will come out firing against us,”
“We don’t know much about Lautoka as they have been quiet after losing some key players to Ba but I guess it will be a good game come Sunday, “said Chand
The match kicks off at 3pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
