Nasinu calls for trials

The Nasinu Football Association is calling interested players who are born in 2004 to 2006 tor their U16 trials.

Association president Oneil Chand urged parents and guardians to send their kids if they qualify for the U16 grade.

“This year we are fully committed in the development of youth players in our district and we need support of the parents and guardians which is the way forward, “said Chand

Chand said there are lots of good players in the district but they were hesitant to show up for training.

“We have so many future stars in our area but they don’t show interest in playing for the district and I request them to come and show your talents,”

“It is the time we are giving so please do not waste your talent and join us for the trials, “said Chand

He said the trials would be held on Saturday January 25 at DAV College Grounds in Vatuwaqa.

“We have appointed master Indr Raj as our U16 coach and he will be at the ground from 10am on the said date so please do come up with your full football gear and show your best,” said Chand

Meanwhile Chand urged all interested players to join the premier team training from Tuesday January 22 at Rishikul Primary School Ground in Nasinu for the upcoming season which starts in February.
