Nasinu aims to return

The Nasinu Football side is committed in making a return to the premier division next season.

Association president O’neal Lal Chand said they have started their campaign to make a return next year.

“Yes we will come back next season and that is our aim, “confidently echoed Chand

An elated president said they have secured some of the players in the pre-season transfer window.

“We have only lost few players but I am happy that we have got the replacement of them.”

“We were unfortunate last season in the VPL but we proved we were real Giant killers in the major tournaments,” added Chand

Chand said he had lack support last year but there have been support coming from fans and former players to get back in the top division.

“I am happy we are getting support to bring back the district where it deserve to be,”

The passionate president has again roped in some of the young players who were not given opportunities to show their talents in their districts.

Chand confirmed that have applied the transfer of brother Jonetani Buksh (Suva) Waisake Soga (Tavua), former Rewa and Suva midfielder Epeli Saukuru, former national U20 and Labasa rep Iliasa Rakuka, Tavua’s Pauliasi Natikibau, former Suva and national u20 rep Nacaineli Ratu, Lote Dakui, Isiveli Waqa former national U20 Anasa Rasasa and former Labasa and Dreketi rep Vilikesa Sowani.
