The Tailevu Naitasiri football side started its Digicel Senior League on a winning note.
The side defeated Northland Tailevu 2-nil in the first round at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbor last Sunday.
Solomon Islander Stephen Kwaitee scored the two goals in the first half for the Nigel Khan coached side.
Tailevu Naitasiri has recruited some of the youth players from Rewa with the likes of goalkeeper Jason Rokovucake, defender Rusiate Qio, Turendran Kumar, former Rewa and Labasa defender Abhishek Deo will be a team to watch this season under former Rewa coach Khan.
Tailevu Naitasiri takes on Tavua this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park ground two at 2pm.
