The Nadroga football side is ready to face Ezy Kool Nadi side in their opening match of the 2021 National League fixture.
Coach Ramesh Sharma said they have been preparing well for the season.
“We have geared up our preparation as we know there are lot of expectations from our fans after coming back to top level competition after lapse of five years, “said Sharma
Sharma said they had a very good set of players.
“We have a very young and energetic players and I have full faith in them because they are very dedicated in training.”
The Nadroga school teacher said he was looking forward for the season opener this weekend.
“We are looking forward to host Nadi at home after lapse of five and we know playing them will not be an easy but we will set up our game plan to face them,”
“Our aim is to win the first match and I urge all Nadroga fans to come out in numbers and support the team in our campaign to win the game,” said Sharma.
“Nadi is a good team and they have some experienced and quality players but we are confident we will give them a tough match with our dedicated players and support from the fans,”
Sharma said the new players that have joined the districts in the pre-season transfer window will have to prove themselves.
“We have recruited some players who are jelling well with the team,” said Sharma
Nadroga and Nadi match will be played this Saturday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka at 5pm.
