All in One Builders Nadi FC coach Kamal Swamy said it was good to start the tournament with a win but still needed more work to be consistence.
“It’s good to start the tournament with a win but it’s not good when you concede goals,” said Swamy
Nadi defeated Koromakawa Rentals & Tour Navua side 4-2 in the opening match on Sunday.
“The two goals we conceded were unfolded so we have rectified them before coming back into the tournament,”
“We have to prepare ourselves as it will not going to be easy because we have all tough matches ahead,”
“We will go back and regroup and hope the players keep consistency in their performance,” said Swamy
“Our next match is against Lautokaand it’s going to be a tough battle because they have some quality players and I have full respect for them,”
“We will have to be more determined and stay focused which is the only way to win,”
“We will treat each game as final,”
The Nadi vs Lautoka match kicks off at 7 pm on Thursday when the tournament proper kicks off at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Nadi plays Rewa on Friday at 4 pm and their final match will be against Labasa on Sunday at 8 pm.
