The Esy Kool Nadi Football Club will be trying to turn the tables around when they take on Viti Water Flow Lautoka FC at Prince Charles Park this Sunday.
Head coach Shalen Lal said they just could not finish their opportunities against Ba last week.
He said the Jetsetters will definitely give in their best shot against the neighbours.
“We had opportunities created against Ba last week but could not finish it up.
“This week against Lautoka will be an equally tough match as they have more quality players but it will be on the match day that whoever performs better will win.
“We will prepare accordingly to the way we want to play Lautoka and will definitely give our best shot,” Lal said.
He said the support from the fans are need as it is too early for people to count them out.
“Its’s our home game and I would like the fans to turn up and support the boys.
“People shouldn’t judge us and count us out because it’s too early into the season.”
Lautoka FC head coach Tagi Vonolagi was satisfied with their performance against Rewa last week.
He said the team is also missing its experienced utility Zibraaz Sahib.
“It was a much-improved performance from the boys against Rewa last week and I take my hats off for them.
“Fitness level is there as well and it’s just the finishing we are lacking that can cost us the game.
“We do miss Zibraaz who had been ruled out for three weeks because of his severe injury, but we had a replacement Marika Rawasoi who did the job well against Rewa.
“Hoping for him to recover well and join the team.”
Lautoka is currently second on the points table with four points while Nadi is at the bottom of the table with one point.
The match is scheduled to kickoff at 3pm.
