The Fiji Football Association’s mid-season player transfer window opens today, June 17, and will run until June 30.
This 16-day period allows clubs to engage in player transfers or apply for International Transfer Certificates (ITC), confirmed by Fiji FA player registration and transfer manager Rohitesh Narayan.
Narayan emphasized the importance of adhering to the procedures for seeking and arranging transfers, noting that while the application process remains unchanged, the window is strictly limited to 16 days.
He also highlighted that a player can only be transferred once per season. Therefore, players who transferred during the January window are not eligible to transfer again during this period.
For women’s football, transfers will only be allowed if the player has changed her residential address.
The process requires the original district transfer certificate, duly approved and signed by the district’s president and secretary, along with a completed player license form signed by both the player and the district officials.
Narayan stressed the importance of submitting all necessary documents within the specified timeframe. Applications received on the last day of the transfer period will lapse after seven days if all required documents are not submitted on time.
