THE Ba Futsal side were crowned the champions of Digicel Futsal League western zone after thrashing Nadroga 16-4 in its final match at Nadi Muslim College Futsal Court in Nadi.
After 15 matches the Men-in-Black team earned 40 points after losing only one match in the competition.
Nadi finished second with 35 points while Lautoka on third with 23 points. Rakiraki is on fourth place with 11 points while Nadroga is on fifth place with nine points and Tavua sits on the bottom of the table with eight points.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said despite the effect of Covid 19 pandemic he was happy the futsal leagues ended successfully.

“With support of the districts we are moving forward in futsal and all credit goes to the districts and players”
Pal confirmed that the Futsal IDC will be played next year.
“Four top teams from the South and four from the west will feature in the Digicel Futsal IDC which will be played in January next year, “said Pal
“We are planning to kick start the futsal league in the north soon,” added Pal
