Licensing regulations to be drafted

The inaugural Fiji FA Club Licensing workshop was held at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Suva on Sunday.

Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal conducted the workshop as the participants consisted of all Premier district officials, Fiji FA board members and staff.

The forum was also addressed by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Clubs and Leagues Officer Steven Dillon on the topic of the day.

“The workshop was all about brainstorming and getting ideas from the members before the Club Licensing Regulations will be drafted,” Pal said.

“The Fiji FA Club Licensing System will be a key tool for development.”

The major focus areas were the five key pillars of Club Licensing which is Infrastructure Criteria, Sporting Criteria, Personnel & Administrative Criteria, Financial Criteria and Legal Criteria.

Social Responsibility Criteria is an optional pillar of Club Licensing.
