The Lautoka football side is gearing up to tackle Ba in the Vodafone Premier League encounter at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba on Sunday.
Head coach Ravinesh Kumar said Ba would be tougher as they had been a consistent side.
“Ba is a very good and a consistent team, unlike us, we are not very consistent but we are building into it.
“The match against Ba will be tougher so we will work onto the areas that we have noted in the last games,” Kumar said.
He said they were lucky to secure a draw against Suva last week.
“We were lucky to draw the game against Suva because big teams came here (ANZ Stadium) and they lost,” he said after their 1-1 draw against Suva. “
“There were few transitions which we did and this is something we worked into during the training sessions. It worked well as the quickness of the players were there.
“We need to go back into finishing, how they (players) will make that numerical superiority into their half and how we will score the goals.”
Ba Football Association acting president Rynal Kumar said they will work on to field a formidable side despite missing a few players.
“We will be missing a few players but we have a squad of around 30 players to cover up.
“But we have faith in all our boys and hopefully they will deliver.”
The match kicks off at 3pm.
