Lautoka football team coach Anginesh Prasad says the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT will be interesting.
“This year’s Digicel Fiji Fact will be an interesting one, as we have witnessed all teams are really doing well in DPL and three weeks of the tournament will give teams to recover well and fans can witness quality football,” Prasad said
“For me all teams are equal and I cannot rate any team. So I really don’t think that we are in the pool of death. It’s a tournament and anything is possible as all teams will prepare well,” said Prasad
“Preparation is going well, despite without any major sponsor, boys are giving their best at the training.
“My message is simple and that we have a task to accomplish and money should not be a hindrance in the performance. Youth players are coping well with the system of play and happy with their attitude and pure mentality of winning.
“We are optimistic and waiting for the tournament to start,” said Prasad
Lautoka is on bye this Sunday and plays Nadi in its opener on Thursday, May 26 at 7 pm when the tournament proper kicks off at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
