Labasa aims for title

The Farmtrac Labasa football side will be aiming for its third BOG title when they meet Bargain Box Ba FC in the second semi-final of the Punjas Battle of the Giants Tournament at Churchill Park in Lautoka this Saturday.

Association President Rayaz Khan said they need to be focused to win the title.

“We need to be confident and take the match seriously,”

“Some of our key players are carrying injuries but we are confident they will recover well before the semi-final on Saturday,”

“Ba is a very good side with young and energetic players so we have to work out our game plan,” said Khan

“There are some areas the coaching panel will work and I urge Labasa fans to come out in numbers and support the team.”

Labasa last won the BOG in 2019 beating Lautoka in the final.
