Labasa football president Rayaz Khan praised his team for their effort and winning the Giants title after 22-years.
Khan said this win was a history for Labasa and him.

He said the players did the great job.
“This is first time we have won the BOG title on the western soil and all the credit goes to the team,”
“As the president of Labasa FA I have won all the titles now as the BOG title was evading.”
“I am so proud that we have won today (Sunday) and it’s my son Rehaan Khan’s birthday which will be an awesome gift for him as well.
Khan confirmed that they would decide this week about their plans to honor the team.
“Definitely we will share the prize-money amongst the players and we will meet this week and decide what all we will do to honor them as I know the Labasa fans are waiting for the arrival of the INKK Mobile BOG trophy,”
Khan thanked his hardworking officials and players for the support.
“I would like to thank my executive members, team officials, players and fans especially those who travelled from North and South to support the team.
