Suva FC coach Babs Khan was a busy man last week, sharing his knowledge with young footballers during the Fiji FA Grassroots development program at Fiji FA Academy in Suva.
Khan took his time out to assist Fiji Development officers in the program to teach the basics of football which more than 100 children participated.
The grassroots development program is an initiative that was rolled out by FFA two weeks ago after the lapse of seven months. It caters to kids between 8-16 years of age and helps them with technical development and match training.
Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf thanked Khan for giving his time to assist Fiji FA in development.
“Through Khan’s support and his tremendous work, we are confident in our development programs in Suva,” Yusuf said.
“The Development Centre Programmes help our kids develop their football skills,”
Also assisting in the program was former national and Nasinu rep Ronald Ram.
