Twenty Three teachers were equipped with Fiji Football Associations Just Play Program in Tailevu North last week.
Fiji FA Just Play coordinator South Filomena Liku Tupua said teachers from eight primary schools from the Tailevu North district took part in the course.
“The teachers and also two head teachers attended the two day course at Korovou Primary School,”
Tupua said the main objective for the course was to teach the teachers about the Just Play Program.
“The course was about teaching teachers on the objective of the program and delivering of social messages with fun activities, “she said
“It was emphasized that the Just Play Program is a program which blends both sport and education which is a valuable tool in giving our children a platform to a healthy, fit life and full of self-esteem for them to become a better citizen of Fiji, “said Tupua
The eight schools also received equipment for their schools.
