The Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga football side won the Courts Inter District Championship (IDC) 2020 senior division title with a convincing 3-0 win over Bua FC in the final at the ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Head coach Johnny Williams commended his boys for a gallant performance.
“First of all I thank the Lord for the strength and for the continued blessing upon the team,” Williams said.
“The journey has been long which started on the 8th of February and eight months down the road, we have achieved a part of it.
“I really did not come for the IDC but I had faith in the boys that the team will make it and we have made it.”
Williams said the win would shut the mouth of the critics.
“The means open doors especially with the especially with the sponsors and closing some mouth that has been criticizing the team along the way.”
He, however, said that the job is not yet done for the Stallions.
“But our main goal is yet to be achieved as we have two more games left (Vodafone Senior League playoffs).
“I have trust in my boys that this time next year, we will be playing in the Premier division IDC.”
