The race for the Extra Premier League 2025 title has taken a thrilling turn, as Round 13 delivered a flurry of goals, stunning upsets, and major reshuffles in the standings. With 22 goals scored across five fiery fixtures, fans were treated to one of the most dramatic weekends of the season.
At the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba, the home side Ba FC recorded their most emphatic win of the campaign, annihilating Nasinu FC 9–1 in a dazzling display of attacking brilliance. Etonia Dogalau led the charge with a sensational hat-trick, while Fazil Ali netted a brace. Penisoni Tirau, France Catarogo, Nabil Begg, and Laendro Ruiz also found the back of the net. Nasinu managed a consolation goal but had no response to Ba’s dominance.
The result lifts Ba into fifth place, setting the stage for a potential top-four finish in the final rounds.
At Subrail Park, Lautoka FC stunned title hopefuls Labasa FC with a clinical 4–1 win on enemy territory. Mohammed Shazil Ali and Rodney Lava (Vanuatu) each scored twice. Labasa’s sole goal came via a Rusiate Doidoi penalty. This upset marks a major setback for Labasa and has opened up the title race, especially with Rewa FC also in contention.
Rewa reclaimed the top spot on the table after a hard-fought 1–1 draw with Navua FC at Uprising Sports Center. John Orobulu gave Rewa the lead, but Kolinio Sivoki equalized for Navua from the penalty spot.
While the result fell short of Rewa’s expectations,Labasa’s loss gave them a critical edge—they now sit one point clear at the top with 30 points.
Suva FC kept their momentum alive with a comfortable 3–0 victory over Tavua FC at Garvey Park. Amani Makoe, a defender turned unlikely hero, scored twice, and Penisoni Rotidara added a late third.
The win sees Suva climb to sixth place, firmly in the hunt for a top-five finish.

At Lawaqa Park, Nadi FC and Nadroga FC played out a tense 1–1 draw. Tuiba Batirtau opened the scoring for Nadi, and Siotame Kubu equalized for Nadroga in the second half.
Next weekend promises another high-stakes round: Lautoka vs. Tavua, Labasa vs. Navua, Rewa vs. Ba, Nasinu vs. Nadi, and Nadroga vs. Suva.
