It has been a slow but exciting week as 5 teams out of 8 have qualified for Vodafone Futsal IDC later this month.
Dreketi with their impressive performance throughout the League qualifies for the first time from North in the Vodafone Futsal IDC while defending champions Suva together with Rewa, Tailevu Naitasiri who also played last year and new comers Lami qualified from Vodafone Central League.
There wasn’t any match played at the Multipurpose Court in Lautoka due to unavailability of Court but all remaining matches will be played this weekend to book remainder of 3 places for the Vodafone Futsal IDC. Nadi looks certain to finish at 1st place but strong second round performance from Lautoka will make it tough for the Jet Setters to finish top of the Vodafone Western League. There is also strong competition from Tavua and Nadroga going into the last round of matches.
Vodafone Futsal IDC will be played from 27th – 29th March 2020 at the National Hockey Center. The winner of Vodafone Futsal IDC will qualify for OFC Futsal Champions League later this year in December.
