The Tailevu Naitasiri women’s football team registered its first win in the Digicel Women’s Super League last Saturday.
The side defeated second-placed Rewa 3-2 in round six at Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Tabua Likumotovai scored a double while Salaceili Senitobo added her name on the score sheet for the sky blues.
Merevesi Fuga scored twice for the Rewa.
Tailevu Naitasiri coach Elvis Goundar was impressed with the performance of his players.

The Vunimono High School teacher said his team was learning from every game.
“I have a very young team and they are learning and improving a lot. The first round of games was not in our favor but I am sure we will do better in this round, “said Goundar.
Rewa coach/player Naomi Waqanidrola was disappointed with the loss.
