Four Fijian referees and an assessor are currently in Tahiti for the 2022 OFC Under 19 Championship.
Referees Veer Singh and Kavitesh Behari together with assistant referees Adriu Naisiroko and Avinesh Narayan are part of the panel while Salen Kumar has been appointed as an assessor.
Fiji FA Referees Director Rakesh Varman says it is a great opportunity for them to gain more experience.
“Officiating in the OFC tournament is a huge achievement,” said Varman.
“I am sure they will come back with more experience as they will be officiating and also learning more during the tournament.”
Varman said it was a proud moment for Fiji FA referees.
“It is a proud moment as four referees and an assessor have been appointed to the panel,”
The OFC U19 Championship kicks off this Thursday.
