The 2020 Vodafone Fiji Football Association Cup Tournament (Fiji FACT) pool draws will be done this Friday at Vodafone Shop at Damodar City in Suva at 11am.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said this year’s tournament would be more exciting.
“We all know the Fiji FACT is the first major tournament in Fiji FA calendar but due to the pandemic it was postponed till November “said Yusuf
“If we look at the Vodafone Premier League we can imagine the strength and how competitive the teams are.”
Yusuf said the eight teams would come out prepared as there was no easy way in the tournament.
“The pools will be drawn according to their seeding in the VPL standing. Labasa as host and Nadi as defending champions will lead a pool each, “said Yusuf.
The first round of the Group stages will be played on Saturday November 21 at Churchill Park and Sunday November 22 at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
The tournament proper starts on Wednesday November 25 at Subrail Park in Labasa Sunday November 29.
