The Fiji Football Association Players’ Status Committee has concluded the dispute case of five players while one remains pending.
Chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf, after the committee meeting confirmed as follows:
1. Antonio Tuivuna – Not released from Labasa FC to join Lautoka FC as his contract is still valid. He can only apply after his contract expires in June transfer window and he can follow his appeals process from Labasa Football Association.
2. Gabrieli Matanisiga – Suspended for six premier league matches with a $5,000 fine for breach of transfer legislation. He also needs to repay all the monetary gain of $3,000 received from Suva Football Association.
3. Zainal Ali – Released from Nadi FC to join Navua FC (League FC).
4. Tevita Koroi – Released from Tailevu Naitasiri FC to join Ba FC.
5. Avinesh Suwamy – Released from Nadi FC to join Ba FC.
6. Sairusi Nalaubu – Case deferred because of further legal arguments before a decision could be made.
