The Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) is in the final stages of securing new sponsorship deals with major companies following the conclusion of its previous agreement with Digicel Fiji.
During the Fiji FA Council meeting held on Sunday, February 8, at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa, President Rajesh Patel revealed that negotiations were progressing well, and official agreements were expected to be signed in the coming weeks.
“As you all know, Digicel parted ways this year, but we are in discussions with major companies to secure sponsorships across different levels of competition,” Patel said in his presidential speech.
He also confirmed that a deal had already been secured for the upcoming Fiji FACT tournament, with an official announcement to be made soon.
“The sponsorship for Fiji FACT has been finalized. The company’s directors are currently overseas, but once they return later this month, we will complete the signing,” Patel stated.
“We are also in talks for the Premier League, and we hope to conclude discussions soon.”
