Fiji FA appoints standing committees

The Fiji Football Association Board of Control in its meeting last Saturday has appointed its own Standing Committee.

  1. Technical and development committee

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel – chairman, vice president west Aiyaz Musa, CEO Mohammed Yusuf, Technical director, Goalkeeper Development Officer Lice Waqaliti, Futsal Development Officer Mira Saheb, Women’s Vice President Susan Wise ,Women’s Development Officer Vani Buadromo, Referees Director Rakesh Varman and Just Play manager Lavenia Yalovi.

  • FIJI FA COMPETITIONS COMMITTEE

This committee will organize all Fiji FA competitions in compliance with the provisions of the regulations applicable to the respective competitions, and shall also deal with all matters relating to futsal and beach soccer.

There will be no National League Board and Futsal Commission

This will be headed by Fiji FA vice president     Jitendra Reddy as chairman.                        VP north Edwin Chand, Competitions manager Amitesh Pal, VP west Jitendra Kuma, Futsal Development officer Mira sahib, Women’s VP Naziah Krishna, Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf and Fiji FA Technical Director.                                                           

3. Football Stake Holders committee  [max 8] new committee

This committee will deal with football matters, particularly the structure of the game and relationship between clubs , players, leagues, member associations and the Fiji FA as well as issues relating to the interest of club football throughout the country’

VP south Yogeshwar Singh has been appointed as    chairman while Naziah Krishna as deputy chair together with Fiji FA finance committee chairman Ravin Swamy, National Team manager Anushil Kumar, National women’s head coach Marika Rodu,Fiji FA vice president North Girja Prasad and Fiji FA Technical Director

  • Player Status Committee

This committee will set up and monitor compliance with the National Registration regulations and determine the status of players for various Fiji FA competitions, its jurisdiction is governed by the National Registration regulations.’

It shall also be responsible for the work of the disputes chamber in accordance with the National Registrations rules of players and the rules governing the procedures of the player’s status committee

The player status committee to act as dispute resolution chamber and may pronounce the sanctions described in these National Registration rules of players on the member associations, clubs, officials, players, intermediaries and license match agents:

 Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel as chairman and vice president Aiyaz Musa as deputy.

Members: Yogeshwar Singh, Jitendra Reddy, Girja Prasad, Mohammed Yusuf

Fiji FA IT Officer Rohitesh Narayan, and Amitesh Pal.

  • REFEREES COMMITTEE

The referees committee will implement and interpret the laws of the game and may propose amendments to the laws of the game to the Board of Control. It shall appoint the referees and assistant referees for the matches in competitions, organized by Fiji FA, organize refereeing matters within Fiji FA in collaboration with the administration of Fiji FA and monitor the education, training of referees

 Jitendra Kumar –chairman, Edwin chand-deputy

Members: Yogeshwar Singh, Rakesh Varman-RDO, Madhu Sudhan-former referee member, Rajesh Patel and Mohammed Yusuf.

6. FIJI FA MEDICAL COMMISSION

 Dr. Ronal Kumar-chairman, Dr. Kapil Swamy-deputy

Members: Nishant  Kumar-Fiji FA physio, Amitesh Pal and Varoon Karan-Government physio

7. Women’s football committee

 Susan Wise -chairperson, Naziah Krishna- deputy

Members: Technical director, Vani Buadromo,Lice Waqaliti,Marika Rodu, Tulia Cama.

8. MEDIA and Marketing committee

Naziah Krishna -chairperson

 Members: Anushil Kumar,  Avikash Chand, Indra Singh, Shane Hussein

9. Sponsorship and marketing committee

A] Rajesh Patel –chairman, Aiyaz Musa -deputy

Members: Ravin  Swamy, Mohammed Yusuf and Fiji FA Finance Manager
