Eleven goals were scored last night on the opening day of the 2023 Courts Inter District Championship Super Premier Division at the HFC Bank Stadium.
RC Manubhai Ba FC’s Peceli Sukabula scored the opening goal in the Men-in-Blacks 1-0 over Security Systems Management / Oceania Fiberglass PTE Ltd Tailevu NaitasiriEsy Kool / Profesional Valuation Nadi FC FC in Group A fixture.
The second match of Day One between Ajay Trading Rewa FC and Esy Kool / Professional Valuation Nadi FC ended in a 2-all draw. Iosefo Verevou and Epeli Valevou scored for the Delta Tigers while Rahul Krishna and Eneriko Matau netted for the Jetsetters.
Newline Chemicals / Chandra Enterprises Suva FC won 2-0 against Aldex Trading / River Tubing Fiji Navua FC in the third match with goals from Dave Radrigai and Joeli Ranitu.
The final match of Day One ended with Tigers Lautoka FC’s 3-1 win over Extra Supermarket Labasa FC. Saula Waqa, Sairusi Nalaubu and Usman Omede netted for the Blues while Chistopher Wasasala scored for the Babasiga Lions.
Today at 1pm Nadi will play Navua FC while Lautoka and Ba will battle at 3pm followed by Labasa vs Tailevu Naitasiri match at 5pm.
The feature match of Day Two will be between Newline Chemicals / Chandra Enterprises Suva FC and Ajay Trading Rewa FC at 7pm.
