Eight teams have been confirmed for this year’s Vodafone Women’s Inter District Championship which will be held from October 6-11 in Suva.
Fiji FA competition manager Amitesh Pal said four teams from south, three teams from west and one team north have confirmed their spot in the IDC.
“The teams have qualified according to their standings on Vodafone Senior Women’s League points table standing,” said Pal
“Labasa is the lone team form north while south have Tailevu Naitasiri, Rewa, Suva and Nasinu. Ba Nadroga and Nadi have qualified from west,”
Pal said Fiji FA would be providing all assistance to the teams.
“The eight teams will receive travel grants, accommodation, meals and new sets of jerseys from Fiji FA,” said Pal
Pal confirmed the pool for the Vodafone Women’s IDC will be done tomorrow.
“The Vodafone Women’s IDC will be played during the 2020 Courts IDC at ANZ Stadium in Suva from 6th to 11th of next month.
