The bottom of the table Round 11 Digicel Premier League clash between Nasinu and Tailevu Naitasiri ended in a 0-0 draw at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday.
Tailevu Naitasiri head coach Nigel Khan says they missed a lot of opportunities.
“We would have easily won the match but lack of finishing is like our enemy now,”
“We have been lacking finishing from the start and we did work on it but I just don’t know what is wrong. The transfer window is open and we might get some players to fill in,” said Khan
“Well getting one point from the match is good but we need matches now to survive in the top division,”
Nasinu coach Shivam Naithan says they still needed more improvement.
“Our fitness level and our playing style have improved but still a lot of improvement is needed,”
“We are not happy with the one point as a win would have put us up on the points table but we will get back to the drawing board and come out more prepared in our next games,”
“We really need to work on our goal-scoring opportunities as we have seen today (Sunday) we missed a lot of opportunities,”
In other matches, Navua came from behind to hold Lautoka to a one-all draw at Uprising Sports Center while Nadroga and Nadi also played to a one-all draw at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
