DPL to conclude this weekend

The final round of Digicel Fiji Premier League will be played this weekend.

Fiji FA Competitions Manager Amitesh said that some of the postponed matches will be played in the week while the final round in the weekend.

Nadroga will host Ba today at 7pm while Nadi will play Tavua at the same time at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

On Friday, Ba will play Rewa at 7pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Three matches will be played on Sunday.

Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream BOG champions Labasa will face Nadroga FC at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka while point table leaders Lautoka will host Navua FC at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Defending champions Rewa will face bottom-placed Tavua at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori while Suva will host Ba at Uprising Sports Center in Pacific Harbour.

All matches will be played at 3pm.

Meanwhile, Lautoka FC just needs a point to win the Digicel Fiji Premier League title this year. The Blues are on top of the points table ladder with 37 points after playing 17 matches while Rewa is on second place with 32 points playing 16 matches.

Suva FC is placed third with 29 points, Labasa FC is in fourth spot with 27 points, Tailevu Naitasiri is in fifth position with 24 points after playing a full round of matches. Nadi is in sixth place with 23 points while Navua is in seventh place with 20 points.

Ba is in eighth place with 18 points while Nadroga is in second last with 12 points and Tavua sits in the bottom of the table with six points.
