Davis moves to Puerto Rico

USA-based Digicel national women’s football striker Trina Davis is set to join Puerto Rico club Sol FC.

She has signed a short-term contract with the club which she will join on September 12.

The club, which comes under the Puerto Rican football association, takes part in the Liga Puerto Rico, the highest level of football in the country.

This is the 20-year-old’s second professional signing, having signed with Israel Club ‘ASA Tel Aviv’ last year, due to Israel’s increasing conflict, she had to return to the United States.

Davis will officially start for the club on September 12.

“If you told me 9 years ago I’d be living out my dreams as a professional soccer player, I wouldn’t believe it. I’m committed to becoming the best I can be. all the sacrifices, all the training, all the setbacks, it wasn’t for nothing it’s all been worth it.
