Coach Manu upbeat

The newly-promoted Tailveu Naitasiri football side is excited in making a return to one of Fiji FA’s first major tournaments Digicel Fiji FACT which kicks off this weekend.

The side is drawn in Group B with host Nadroga, Giant killers Nasinu, defending champions Suva and Ba.

Coach Priyant Manu says they have been drawn in a good pool.

“From our side, we think we are in a good pool with all the tough teams which will make us work extra hard for the tournament,”

“We have played all the teams and we just need to refresh and look back at our mistakes and iron it out before we face them,”

“We will take each game as it comes,” said Manu

Manu said his team was looking forward to the tournament.

“Some of our players will play for the first time in Digicel Fiji FACT and I think they are excited with some of the experienced players,”

“The boys are on track and ready”

“No team is easy, people are saying Pool A is tougher than Pool B, but it is all about football playing 90 minutes for four days.

The Sky blues will open the tournament against NZOTC Nasinu on Sunday at 11 am at ANZ Stadium before the tournament proper kicks off at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka next on Thursday, May 26.
