Digicel national football team head coach Fleming Serristlev was impressed with the performance of some of the teams in round one of the Digicel Fiji FACT 2022 at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
“We had a very good opening in my opinion and we could see the Rewa vs Labasa match was an intense match,”
“It was a really good game and also Suva versus Ba was an entertaining clash,”
“Nadi displayed very good football and all in all for me it has been a positive experience.”
“I can’t say who will play in the final. Nadi did a very good and I know they will be the underdogs and I actually believe they can challenge so-called bigger teams,”
“Labasa played well and Rewa also played well, Suva played well in defense and this is what football is about -to keep a clean sheet,”
Serristlev said he was also impressed with the performance of his national reps.
“I was really impressed with the performance of the national team players because they really played well in their respective teams,”
