The United Fijian FC, U16 football club from Canada will be in the country this week for friendly matches with some of the top teams from the Vodafone U16 Youth League.
Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal said the team would be here to play some build-up matches and we have selected the teams on their performance on the Vodafone U16 Youth League.
“Based on the performance of the teams in our current U16 league we have selected the teams for buildup matches,”
Pal said this would be good opportunity for the teams to play overseas team.
“This will be a great opportunities for our players to get international exposure,” said Pal
Pal said the team would also play before the finals of the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament where they will play southern champions Northland Tailevu.
