BOG semi-final and finals venue confirmed

The venue for the semi-finals and final of the 2019 INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants Tournament has been confirmed.
Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel confirmed Churchill Park as the venue for the finals.

“After consulting with various councils and sports facilities Fiji FA has decided to take the semi-finals and final matches to Lautoka.”

“We are very pleased Lautoka City Council have come with an alternative to us to make the grounds available for us,”vsaid Patel.

“The first semi-final will be played on Saturday at 6.30pm between Labasa and Nasinu while the second semi-final will be played at 8.30pm between Lautoka and Suva.”

“On Sunday at 2pm, the third/fourth play-off will be held while the final at 4pm.

Patel confirmed that the ticket price would be $10 flat for adult and child under 12 would be $4.

“The tickets will go on sale from Tuesday at Lautoka City Council and Fiji FA Headquarters and I urge fans to buy their tickets in advance,” said Patel.

He said the fans would expect thrilling semi-finals and finals this year.

“Looking at the four teams no one can predict who will win this years tournament because they all are evenly matched, “said Patel.

Patel said attractive prizemoney and other major awards are at stake.

‘The winner gets away with $17000 while the runner-up gets $5000. The third place winner gets $2500 while the fourth will receive $1000.
