Baby Bula Boys ready for New Zealand

The Digicel Fiji Baby Bula Boys are set to face New Zealand in their second match of the OFC U16 Men’s Championship in Tahiti.

Head coach Sunil Kumar has expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and emphasized that they will approach the match with a fearless mindset.

“New Zealand is always a favourite side in Oceania, and we respect them, so we are taking a fearless approach in this match, and the fans can expect a good performance from the boys,” said Kumar.

He added, “It is always interesting to play a good team like NZ, and we will give our everything in this match.

“It is very important for us as we know that a positive result will put us in a good position in the group.”

Reflecting on their first match against the Cook Islands, Kumar said, “The first match taught us a lot, and we thank them for giving us a tough game.

“The boys are focused and determined to perform well, building on their experiences from their first game, “said Kumar.

The Digicel Fiji Baby Bula Boys vs New Zealand match kicks off at 10am (FT) tomorrow.
