Ba wins big, Nadroga up next in league

The Online I.T Solutions Ba FC displayed an impressive performance and register a 3-0 victory over Nadi FC in the Digicel Premier League encounter at Prince Charles Park on Sunday.

Nippy Etonia Dogalau scored the opener for the Men in Black as they rested with a 1-0 lead at the breather.

Coach Daniel Krishneel made two technical substitutions in the first half sending in youngstar Nabil Begg and Shaneel Narayan in place of Samuela Drudru and Avinesh Suwamy.

It paid dividends in the second half as Begg doubled the lead with a diving header following a cross from Peceli Sukabula.

The 17-year-old stole the show in front of a packed stadium with his fancy foot-works, later earning him a freekick and it was tapped in by Emosi Navaba to seal the win.

Ba Football Association President, Rynal Kumar, commended his boys for a great performance.

“A very exciting match as we bag another three points since we started three weeks back and we are really happy with the performance of the boys.

“Nabil got another goal and he was a crowd pleaser today with his great display.

“He has a bright future and a long way to go,” Kumar said.

He said there are a few areas they needed to work on before taking on Moshin’s Insulation Nadroga FC this week.

“There are few minor areas identified that we need to work on this week.

“Every game you play is different and we can’t go on past results, so we will be prepared for Nadroga as we know they will come out firing and we just need to do our thing.”
