The Ba football side has sealed its spot in the 2020 OFC Champions League after beating Tavua 3-0 in the Vodafone Premier League at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba on Saturday.
The Roneel Kumar coached side now has 29 points after 11 matches and will finish in top two.
An early goal by midfielder Praneel Naidu gave Ba a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Veteran Avinesh Warran Swamy rocketed a free-kick midway in the second half to extend Ba’s lead and striker Abbu Zahid sealed the win with a clinical finish.
The loss keeps Tavua at the bottom of the table and further pushes them towards relegation.
Tavua has 9 points after 11 matches and will need to register positve results in its remaining three games to stay in the Premier Division.
Lautoka is on second spot with 19 points after playing ten matches while Suva moved to third spot after a draw against Rewa on Sunday with 16 points.
Nadi on fourth position with 15 points after playing eleven matches while Labasa on fifth spot with 15 points after playing ten matches.
Rewa moved up to sixth position with eleven points while Nasinu sit on seventh position with ten points,
Tavua sits on the bottom of the table with nine points.
