The Ba FC registered its first win in the Digicel Premier League after coming from behind to beat Navua 2-1 at Uprising Sports Center in Pacific Harbour.
Navua scored first with Vinit Chand scoring in the second minute while Rao scored the equalizer just before the break.
Shameel Rao scored a brace of goals to move Ba to seventh position after two repeated losses in two rounds of the competition.
The Daniel Krishna coached side lost 0-1 to Rewa and 1-2 to Suva.
The defeat puts Navua in eighth place after a win and two loss.
Ba will host Nadroga this weekend while Navua will face Labasa in round four of the competition.
