The Ba football side has left behind its 2-1 defeat against Lautoka in its last outings and have moved its focus against Navua in the round five of the Digicel Premier League.
Coach Kamal Swamy admits they are defensively weak and improvements are needed before their match against Navua.
“What happened against Lautoka is a lesson and taking that, we have to keep a strong defence against Navua. We have played Navua and they survived till the last minute last year which means that they can survive the last minutes against us.”
“There are a lot of things to work and we will work on our defence which caused us the upset. It wasn’t just a loss but an upset, because of our simple mistakes we lost to Lautoka.”
“Our game plan is to keep attacking and play till the last whistle because once we start to relax on the field, that’s when Navua will pick the game up and try to beat up. We just have to consider our first loss as a lesson and improve the mistakes we made there.”
The Online IT Solutions/Priceline Pharmacy Ba will meet Navua at the Uprising Sports Centre next Sunday.
