The RC Manubhai-sponsored Ba football side will bank on its young players during the 2022 Courts Inter-District Championship which kicks off tomorrow at HFC Bank Stadium Suva.
Head Coach Imdad Ali says he has faith in his young brigade.
“I am confident my boys will cause some major upsets during the competition despite recent hiccups,”
“We have players who have the ability to fight their way through the group matches and progress to the semifinals and final.
“I just want to say that all teams and when I say all teams are good, you know these teams that will be playing games with a lot of experienced players who have been together for quite some time.”
“We are trying to put up a team because it takes time to build a strong team but these boys are really putting their hands up.”
“The boys have been doing well and they are doing well and I hope that they will do well during the IDC. ”
“We are determined for a good outing,” said Ali.
The Men-in-Black are drawn in Pool B with arch-rivals Labasa, Rewa, and Lautoka.
Ba will open their IDC campaign against neighbors Lautoka at 5 pm tomorrow and their second match-up is against Rewa on Thursday at 5 pm and their final pool battle will be against Labasa on Friday at 6 pm.
