The defending champion Ba football side is not leaving any stones unturned as they prepare for the upcoming Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion (CvC) series next week.
Coach Ronil Kumar said the preparations are going well for the side.
He said it was a bit difficult in the first few days of training as the players came off from a long festive break.
“Preparations are going well for us even though we do not have our full squad every day in training,” he said.
“It was very hard at the beginning as everyone came off from the festive season but the boys are responding well during the training sessions.”
Kumar said the senior players continue to take their responsibilities in the guiding the young ones as practiced during last season.
“I have a mixture of young and experienced boys as used to have last season and I’m glad that the two senior players Malakai Tiwa and Abbu Zahid continues to guide our young ones during the training sessions.
“Everyone knows that Labasa will not be easy at all, we expect a very tough encounter in this two match series.”
Ba defeated Lautoka (1-0 and 2-1) in the two-match series to lift the CvC title for 2018 season.
