He made these comments as Labasa beat Ba 1-0 in the final to scoop the 2011 Courts Inter District Championship after seventeen long years.
Sharma took up the role earlier this year in a bid to end the long drought which haunted the Labasa fans.
After missing out on the Vodafone Fiji FACT and Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants the Courts IDC was the last opportunity to taste glory in terms of the major tournaments.
The star-studded Labasa side just did that and there season is no any means over yet as they are in the running for the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League title.
“We want to win the league now and qualify for the O-League,” Sharma said.
“I feel proud and happy that we have been able to do something for the Labasa fans that have been waiting for a title. I thank god and my players who gave their best on the field.
Also the fans who came out in numbers to support us throughout the competition and now are taking this title to the North.”
