The Blues as they are commonly known thumped Savusavu 5-0 at Ratu Ganilau Park this afternoon. Simione Tamanisau and Kamal Hassan got a brace of goals in the first half. Maika Waqa scored Lautoka’s fifth in the last quarter of the match.
After a close 0-1 loss to Nadi in their last match the victory has no doubt fired the Blues campaign that will look to return from Vanua Levu with six points as they face Labasa tomorrow afternoon.
Rewa maintains top spot with ten points but that would change if Suva beat Nadroga tomorrow afternoon at National Stadium.
Suva beat Rewa 1-0 to remain the only undefeated side in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League.
