National Youth League resumes

Highlight of the Youth League tomorrow will be the much anticipated launch of the Northern division competition which will be held at Waiqele Secondary school in Labasa.
A colourful opening will mark the launch of the Northern division U-16 and U-19 Youth competition. A total of six matches will be played.
Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) Technical Director Saiyad Ali says this was an ideal opportunity for the Northern youth players to showcase their talents and abilities.
“The South and the Western division have witnessed the Youth League and now its time for the Northern division. We have been looking forward to the launch of the Youth League in Labasa and now the moment has finally arrived.
“Plans were to start the competitions earlier but we had to delay as players were involved in the secondary schools competitions.
“Launch with begin with a colourful opening ceremony. Youth League board chairman Mr. Rajesh Patel is expected to be present during the opening ceremony alongside other invited guest,” he said.
